Creative Embellishment Blog Hop Anniversary!

Welcome To Creative Embellishments Blog Hop Anniversary!!! Whoot Whoot We are 1 year old!! Yay!!

If You came from Sandi's blog you are on the right track! Now its my turn to show you a couple of my favorite Creative Embellishment products!! Now this was a super hard task, because I have soooo many!! LOL What I chose to use isFlourishes, Title and Stamp. Hehe Couldn't keep it at just one. Here is my LO..

Love Love Love using CE stamps for the BG!! They are perfect style and size! Here is a close up of the BG..

Seee How the Distressed Checkerboard pattern blends so well!! Ok now I am a flourish nut! LOL I love them and the styles to choose from at CE is OUT OF SITE!! YUMMY!! Not to mention the Awesome titles!! Here is a close up of those as well..

I used one of my all time fave flourishes on this piece it is Flourish set 17. I have bought it a couple of times! Just can't get enough! LOL the Title "I Love You" comes in 2 sizes in the set (lots come this way as well!). So more bang for your buck not to mention with 2 sizes 1 is definitely gonna be the right size for your LO or maybe you want to use both! No wrong way to use CE!! On the treatments of the Chippies I used a Faber-Castell big brush pen in black on the Title and Gesso covers my Flourishes.

Products used: Prima flowers and Petaloo and Prima's Stationer's Desk Collection for paper and other elements.

Loving Mixed Media and Creative Embellishments!

Hi all!!! Back today on the CE blog to share a LO with ya. I took some pics on my vaca of the family and one pic I just had to scrap right away. Have ya ever done that before?! Like ya couldn't get it printed out fast enough to scrap? LOL Speaking of vaca, is this summer flying by or what? It seems like I am running around like a crazy woman of late to get things done. Before I know it the day is gone, like a flash! Ok enough of the chatter let me show ya the LO! :)

This photo brings to mind a certain conversation that me and my hubs had while we was dating. He would talk about being able to see his self in someone else (being related) because he is adopted. Ya know the traits and likeness we all share when we are related to our families. Well he got a big ole dose in our son. He looks just like his dad and that is so special to my husband. How about some close ups?

The Creative Embellishment Distressed Corner stamp really makes the Mix Media BG just pop! I really had a blast using it! Absolutely perfect for Mix Media LO's. I actually used some other stamping but the photo piece ended up covering it up. I had started the LO horizontally, but ended up going with it vertically. I just really liked how things lined up better. So I had to sacrifice some of my stamping.Thats ok tho cuz more LO's are on the horizon for me! :)

The Flim strip Photo frame was painted with a black Faber-Castell Big brush pen (Love these so much!). Makes easy work for coloring chippies.

Products used:
Marion Smith " Nirvana " Collection
Petaloo and Prima Flowers
TH Film strip
13arts ink
TH Distress paint
Prima Mask

Thank You for hanging out with me today! Don't forget about a challenge that is going on this month to win ya some of these Amazing Chippies or stamps! Hugs all!!
