Bit of Christmas Fun with G45 and Petaloo

Hello everyone!! Totally Excited to share some Christmas Cards and a Tag with you! Using G45's "Christmas Carol" Collection and Lush Petaloo blooms from the Holiday Collection!! I am telling ya you can totally have a Christmas Card fest with these two!! Put on some Christmas music (I love to listen to music when I am playing in my scraproom!!), and play the weekend away! Here is what I made for today's inspiration.

Here is the first one..

This one was made using the Christmas Carol sheet. I LOVE to fussy cut!! Even though my card wasn't going to be huge I still wanted to use the image of Tiny Tim and his Dad Tim Cratchit on my card. Yes they do peep up a bit.. It's all good! If I was to put it in a envelope I could bend the top back. I also used the Seasonal sentiments sheet and Figgy Pudding sheet (post card). The quote is from the matching chipboard for this collection. I was thrilled to see the new Vintage Velvet Dogwood blooms to play with!! Let me tell you these are DELISH!! I used the Gold ones on this card along with Burgandy Sugared blooms, Sugared minis in Teal and Glitter Snowflake picks to pull the colors of the card together in my cluster. Here is a close up..

Here is the Tag made using the "Christmas Carol" Collection.

Using a Tim Holtz Tag die I cut out a tag from the Good Cheer sheet. Then layered a piece of the Seasonal Sentiment sheet, I had a piece left over from the Christmas Carol Sheet that I layed on top of that one down the center. I love the gorgeous stickers sheet that came with this collection and had to used the image of the lady reading. The image was small so to make it larger I used a Cheery Lynn Doily die actually 2 of them. I used the center of the Nautical Doily where I placed the center part of the sticker and the outside piece of the Felicity doily where I attached the outer rim of the sticker. Then layered them on top of each other and popped up the center piece with a small piece of cardboard. Adding the plate that was cut out when I cut my tag on top of the Merry Christmas sticker. Easy as pie! Now for my last card..

This one was really easy! I used the last bit of the Christmas Carol Sheet as my back piece. Layered a beautiful quote from the Figgy Pudding sheet ( I actually used this quote in my first card too) which was perfectly layered with color attached a bit of gauze, a fussy cut flower cluster and 3 Vintage velvet Poinsettias for my cluster on top.  Easy too! Hope you enjoyed! Thank you for joining me today!

Flying Unicorn Your Art Your Passion Mixed Art KOM

Hello all! Sharing a project made today using the Mixed Art Dec KOM For Flying Unicorn. I so love this kit! It always comes with media and cool stuff to use! This month it included a AJ Book. The book is designed for more of a flat AJ page. This was a challenge not to bulk up my page with yummy flowers. However!! I did get some in just not the fluffy kind! :) The images just screamed romance to me.. And well I am a romantic at heart so I dove in and had a blast! Here is the pages.

I used some Tim Holtz Tissue paper in the BG and muted it out some with some watered down Gesso. Fussy Cut the couple out of a card that came in the kit. Then layered them on top of the postcard that also came in the kit. Applied some of the Mica powder in rust that is in the Main KOM. I used the canvas borders (lace piece) to be the guide for the flow of the page from lower left to upper right. Misted with the Prima Gold mist. Then grabbed the Prima Stencil "broken glass" layed down some texture. I wanted to really pop it with blue. Love the 13 Arts splash ink in Turquoise so that was the color inspo fro my flowers that I used. I used the Tim Holtz Flower Garden stamps and colored them up with some water color pencils and Faber Castell big Brush pens. Glued them down added some shadowing and splats of gesso and the 13 Arts splash ink. Added in for a little bit more of texture with some 13 Arts Mica Flakes. Used a rubb-on from my stash that I have had forever. Wha La a romantic page is born! Here are some close ups..

Love playing around with this kit!! I have been wanting to play with these stamps for a while. This was the perfect place to play with them. I can have my flowers with no bulk!! Last look different angel..

Wintery Fun with CE!!

Hello all!! I have a LO to share today for Creative Embellishments. Ok, I have a serious confession to make.. I have a serious addiction to the Snowflake chippies.. I am not just talking about the little ones either! I mean everyone with a snowflake on it!! I don't like the brrrr kind of snow.. But give me some chippies with them on it and I am in HEAVEN!! Quick easy to use and boy do they make a project shine!! Gesso and 13 Arts White Glitter paint BAM and YUM!! I used the Flying Unicorn Dec KOM  featuring Riddersholm "Barn Market" Collection for this LO. Which also has more YUMMY CE Chippies in the kit this month!! Whoot Whoot!! Here is my LO..

I don't like winter at all.. But I really love the look of winter. The Blues and whites.. Some gray.. Yeah I totally love playing with it. My Daughter and my Nieces above was a perfect pic to really make that idea shine too. Here are some close ups of this LO..

The Title is a from the Inspire word set. I thought it fit perfectly with the Snowflake Page Corner set.  I used the small corner more as a bracket for my title. Next close up..

The Snowflake frame 2 was a perfect size for my photo and help with the flower clustering as well. Then I danced the individual Snowflake chippies all around to bring it all together. Let me tell ya this LO sparkles like nobodies business! Hope you grab up some of these chippies and play I love them! My winter go to chippy!!
