** LO's and OTP using 50 Shades of Summer KOM Sept Flying Unicorn**

This kit was amazing to play with!!!!!! The colors was pure HAPPINESS!!!!! Love every single scrappy bit of this KOM!!!

This first LO I chose to use the Kaisercraft PP "True Romance" Collection. Totally crushing on this PP line!! Perfect fussy cutting!! I totally love to fussy cut!! This is a pic of my DD sneaking one of summers first apples from our apple tree.

Here are some close ups.. Oh and BTW those cool circles isn't a mask or stencil.. Get this.. Bubble wrap with gesso! Worked out perfect to add a touch of whimsy to this LO!

In the Flower Addon.. There are Hello pastell Prima flowers in white! Little tip on coloring them.. First spray ink of your choice on your craft mat. Then dip the tips of each petal in the ink. then with a water mister spray and let the ink run down the petals. Perfectly colored petals and fast too!

What I used:
Main KOM:
Embellishment Addon: Spritzers Moody Blue

My stash: Tattered Angels mist party pink, Gesso, Prima alpha, Prima Mask, Bubble wrap, black ink pen

Here is my OTP! I wanted to give this as a gift to a special friend. She did me a huge favor on one of her trips to Mexico and well she really is a very nice person. So I used a pic that I found on her FB page of her kiddos and DH.  So the focus was the picture. Not the amazing clock that serves as the "base" of the whole project...

Here is a alternate view..
Although you can't see it very well.. I used alcohol inks to color my clock with. It really turned out pretty darn cool!

What I used:
Kaisercraft 75 cents collection
Seam binding

Stay tuned Much more to come!!!

*** 50 Shades of Summer Sept KOM Flying Unicorn ***

Flying Unicorn's September Kit of the Month :
The end of summer is not a farewell, but an embrace of memories that will live on. That hot sun as you played in the water, and those steamy nights where you may have sipped wine in the yard, enjoying the smell of the bbq as you entertained friends and family . Lazy days by the pool and family vacation time. Sleeping in, as the yellow sun played in the skies of blue to late nights where only the shinning stars above were the light source. From the boldest blues and reds to the muted greens and purples it was 50 Shades of Summer.
Flying Unicorn proudly presents September's Kit of the Month with an ensemble from Melissa Francis Classic Elegance Collection,True Romance from Kaisercraft and 13@rts Faces of Spring.

Not only are we unique in the fact that scrapbooking should be a passion and not an obligation that we have no sign ups but it is first come first serve - Our kits have an Off the Page Project and this month is no different we have included the Tim Holtz Assemblage Clock for your creative pleasure.
