Christmas Fun with CE

 Hello everyone out there in cyber world!! Today's post from me is meant to be happy, fun and hopefully make you smile! I have put together a fun tag and I know that it makes me smile! I used one of the first chippies that I got from Creative Embellishments. I have always wanted to use it, because it always would make me grin. Now to do that chippy the justice it deserved, I need just the right bits and pieces to pull it all together. Well I found the right or should I say missing piece. I used one of my Crazy Birds! I sooo love these little guys! There is more info to share, but I am gonna share my tag with ya first! LOL

The Santa stuck in the chimney just cracks me up!!  Match it together with a Crazy Bird and you have one FUN tag or card on your hands!! Now the story behind the wording on it.. I had my bird all colored up and my Santa too.. But the perfect words to give a bit of a storyline to go with it was another challenge. So I texted a friend who always has something funny to say! Cookie is her name and being funny is totally her game! LOL Anyways I asked her "If Santa was your best bud, and you was with him, and he got stuck in a chimney what would you say?". Now I had not shown her the tag or images.. I think she may had thought I hit the eggnog a little early!! LOL She was quite for a sec.. Then I see her typing.. She said " Well knowing me I would probably say What goes up, must come down, but this time we may need butter!". LOL She cracks me up! I shorten the butter part, but the rest is there. Here is a close up..

For my chippie I covered him first with Gesso and then colored him with Faber-Castell big brush markers. Added a bit of 13Arts Glitter paint to the white areas. I also used a white gel pen to doodle a bit on the piece and a black one too! Very easy to color and a whole lot of fun too!! I backed him with a piece of black CS. I used the Creative Embellishments Snowflake stamp on my BG to pull in that wintery feel and added in a bit of a white gel pen and paint pen. Here is another close up..

Hehe Perfect partners huh?! I hope you got a chuckle and a smile from todays post. To much sadness in this world today. We all need to laugh and smile. So I declare this global "Happiness Day!" Do something that makes you smile and the others around you!!
