Creative Embellishments January Challenge

Happy New YEARS!!!! Whoot Whoot!! Let me just say I adore out inspo pic for our challenge this month! Isn't it just GORGEOUS?! The twist this this month is to add in texture. Mmmm Snowy texture is calling me in!!

I think the colors and tones of the pic capture the essence of winter for me. So I tried to repeat the feeling in my card. With the browns and blue hues and over all wintery feel. For the twist I used Aleene's True Snow to cover the chippy pine trees and some gesso and 13 Arts glitter paint for the snowflakes and snowflake frame. I edged them with a little inker in dark rust to keep with the earthy feeling.  For the background I used the snowflake stamp along with a older stamp to give a wintery scene. For a little extra boost of texture I added in some good ole cardboard and layered my card up! The papers are from this months KOM at Flying Unicorn they are the delish Riddersholm "Vintage Venture" YUM! Here is my card for inspo this month..

For the additional products I used some delish Petaloo Botanica's and some Magnola berry stems.
