OTP KOM Sept for **Flying Unicorn**

Hello everyone!

Hope everyone is having a fabulous weekend!! I wanted to show you my OTP for Sept today.. Thought I would close up Sept with one last inspo piece of this awesome kit! All the CT really rock this project!

I did mine in a Christmas theme.. I use some pieces of every manufacturer I believe! LOL I thought they all mixed rather well! Here is the front of the house...

For the top shingles is TH embossed CS, The background is Bo Bunney "Father Christmas", Vine is Petaloo "Canterbury Collection Poinsettia and Berries Branch" Poinsetta in the middle of the bow is Prima, Angel is Flying Unicorn, Rubbons that was used to make a stained glass window at the top was Kaisercraft "25days" collection, The top of the eves are Prima Resin and the Christmas Tree is Melissa Francis. Lace ribbon and bows are some I had in my stash. Oh and the Saying on the little brass tag is TCP. Haaaha told ya I had just about ever manufacturer on this piece..

I don't have a lot of Christmas in my stash but really wanted to do a house with it. So I took what I had and some way some how it all worked! Now all of this stuff is last years releases. But I do know that the new ones are yummy and Alda has been loading the store day with new goodies!! Vines in different types and kinds are in the store as well! Your stash should never run out of these!! LOL Here is a link to the store. Now you can search by your fave manufacturer or by the item or even by the season! How cool is that?! The side bar guides you to easy access to your favorite goodies!! Now for the right side of my house..

Here I used G45 "Christmas Emporium" I think just maybe there is some of this YUMMY PP in the store!! This is a gorgeous line that screams to be fussy cut as does all of G45 PP!! Oh I also spotted some really cool embellies on my trip to the store recently by G45!! All kinds of cool and fun items!! The little oval metal pieces are TCP. The Background PP is Bo Bunny "Father Christmas". Now for the back side..

These pieces are G45 "Christmas Emporium" as well. Except for the little medal piece and it is TCP. The Back is Bo Bunny "Father Christmas". Here is the left side of the house..

More Yummy G45 and Bo Bunny  I fussy cut all the pieces. The Vine worked out really well with this side! I decided to use my house to store Christmas cards that I get from people! That way they are not lost! Oh and the frame on the front is able to exchange out pictures from one year to the next! Just a Wally world frame that I customized! Here is the inside of the house..

Ready and waiting for those Christmas cards!! Ya know its not far away now.. Boy does time fly!! Be sure to keep your eyes out for the new Christmas goodies coming to the store!! You can click on the Christmas Link at the bottom of the stores main page to get ya started!! Here is the Link to the store again.

Oh and this  project was the Off the Page project that comes with the KOM! So also be sure to be with us as we release our new KOM the one for OCT on the 3rd at 12:00 am! Not much farther away!! Check this link out to see all the cool sneaks that is going on right NOW from the AMAZING CT!!

**Flying Unicorn Spotlighting 7gypsies**

Hey everyone!  Tammy here!

We are having a sale on 7gypsies this month 20% off till September 30th at the Flying Unicorn Store!  Whoo hoo!

Let me tell ya if you like to do heritage LO's, then this PP is screaming to be played with! I got to do a heritage LO using the fabulous "Trousseau" Collection from 7gypsies! I so love to see Maggi's heritage LO's, she can flat make you drool over them! I always love the stories behind the photo's she has too tell. As scrappers that is where it all began for us really, a story to tell and a memory to preserve. I have always wanted to give a heritage LO a try...  I got my hands on a awesome heritage item this week right when I was playing with these papers!! Tooo Cool!! It must have been fate?!

My cousin had came over to the house and was asking my advise on a newspaper cover that her Mom and my Aunt was on in 1962. I end up scanning in my computer and that is all it took! LOL It was on!! I had to play!! LOL. Here is the Newspaper artical..
She was 16 when this was taken. Out in a cotton field picken cotton and up came this person taking pics for a Newspaper in Saint Louis. They were publishing a article on cotton fields, and my aunt presented them a opportunity for a beautiful face to adorn their cover! How cool was that?! Now for the heritage item to meet scrapbooking!! A little resizing and some beautiful papers to play with!! And Bamm! A heritage LO is born!

I used several fussy cut sheets on this LO. Pieces from just about all the sheets!! LOL  I loved each one and so much yummyness I couldn't help myself! I also used some Dusty Attic Flowers and pieces for this LO too!! I made the door, but adorned it with some DA corner pieces and the Yummy clock face is DA too! I used some Tattered Angels Glam on it. You can find them in the Flying Unicorn store too!! Along with the TH Crackle paint that I used on the door as well! I used "Picket Fence" and "Rock candy".  How about some closeups..

Sooo many really cool vintage images to fussy cut!! Oh and some really cool tape to use too! It is behind the word "true". I love the washi tape from 7gypsies and really wanted to use it more than I did! It worked like a charm to remove a area that was bugging me. Looks like it is just a part of the PP, with a bit of texture to boot! Next close ups..
Now ya know that LO's for me, just aren't LO's without some beautiful flowers to adorn them with! On this LO, I used Dusty Attic blooms in white, and tinted them with the paints that came in the June KOM. I didn't do them all that way just a few. On the door, I used TH crackle paints, as mentioned above, and fussy cut out some of the numbers from the PP, to form the date of the photo on the door. Had some of the DA mini corners to frame the plaque that holds the date on it. Next and last close up.

Here is the DA clock that I applied some Tattered angels glam too.. What was really cool is that if ya don't color the clock with gesso and apply the glam straight it gives almost the look of a old cherry wood. Well at least with the colors that I used! I coated several layers of "Plumeria" and then gave some areas a light touch of the Champagne glam.

Well that is all from me today! I hope your day is a awesome one!! :)

**Challenges of Challenges for Me Anyways!**

Ok Here is my attempt at the white space! Not sure if it works or not.. LOL I made this LO for Shona's Challenge called "Embrace the Space". She just rocks all of her LO's and I just had to try at least once!!! So I did! Heehee Oh and be sure to visit the Flying Unicorn Store for the KOM if its still there and many of the Items used!

I used the Sept KOM and a few added items to make it. I made the door myself  and yes even the door handle! Been admiring the DA and now Prima doors (BTW Alda has in the store! Save some for me please!!) So I made my own. Stamps are CTMH and Tattered angels And the DA I call them weeds lol ,but I think they are called Grass boarders LOL (used some mists and Glam on these). Shells are actually from this trip. Found some heavy twin in my junk drawer. Oh and then there is the mists.. Lindy's and the mist that came in the Sept KOM (it was used at the last to give a kiss to the top items to give them the color of the LO! But The CS is from the kit, The film strip and ALL of the blooms let me tell ya this kit was packed with them! The white flower centers, Metal tag hanging from door, tage under it and the YUMMY LACE!! Gosh this Lace is GORGEOUS! Alda LOVE IT!! I also used gesso! Guess what this kit has that too!!! Heehee Ok enough chatter about the kit!! (I ADORE it can't tell can ya?! LOL) Now for the attempt of attempts.. Drum roll please.. If it doesn't work ummm be kind!! LOL

Had fun even if it doesn't count! HAHA Heehee

"KOM Vintage Harmony" Flying Unicorn September

Hello everyone!! Have a couple of LO to share today with you! First let me say this kit is INSANELY awesome!! I have had so much fun playing with it! I have been working on the OTP to show you, but its not quite done yet so I am gonna give ya some close ups of 2 LO that I do have done! I am running a little behind due to family issues. Thank you guys for hanging on with me during this bumpy ride in my life! Now for those LO's!!

This first one is of my DD.. I have a story behind the Doily in the LO! LOL I was a the hospital with my dad, me and mom was in a discussion. My eye spotted these beautiful doilies and BAM all things was whiped out of my mind! The scrapper in me took over and thought to myself "Dang those sure would look good on a LO!" LOL Mom noticed I stopped talking and she seen what I was looking at. She just shook her head and laughed! LOL She said "Stop looking at those doilies!".. Well the lady that was working the booth was so kind to give me a few!! So here is the LO with it and the INSANELY awesome KOM! I sure hope ya got one!!

The Carta Bella PP are so GORGEOUS!! Those blooms begged to be fussy cut and I did!! LOL The Kaisercraft embellies and Petaloo blooms just completed the LO! Here are a few close ups..
I did some water distressing and then some misting with some black mist to tone down so much white that I had going on.. Fussy cut that little bird too! Soooo much fun!
Oh and this kit came packed and I mean packed with so many gorgeous blooms!!! I love the little white ones they make excellent fillers! Added a few little pearls from my stash for the centers. But never fear this kit has some pearls in it too! You will see them in the next LO! But one little close up left of this one..
Here is a close up of some of the Kaisercraft "Miss Match collection" that is in this kit! So much goodies I haven't come close to playing with all the Yumminess in this kit! Now for my next LO!

This one was done using more of the "Miss Match" collection! I have scrapped this pic before, but I just had to do it again! This paper and pic went together like peas and carrots!
More gorgeous blooms to pay with! The only one from my stash is the large hot pink one from MH. The rest came from this kit! Oh yeah and I have bunches more left to play with!!! I used the large circle to create a frame around the pic. Lots of distressing going on here! Isn't that little girl die cut just the sweetest you have ever seen?! Ok a few close ups of this one..

This kit has embellishments out of this world and little letters and rubbons too! Little tags oh my I could just go on and on.. LOL next close up!

Here is that sweet little girl die cut! All I added from my stash is the little bows.. Sorry can't make bows that tiny.. Heehe.. Ok that about wraps it up for me today! I hope you enjoyed and have a awesome day!! More to come keep checking the forums for more inspo using this kit! Here is the link to the CTs work with the kit! Oh yeah if ya didn't get one here is the link to the store if there is any left!
