**Flying Unicorn Spotlighting 7gypsies**

Hey everyone!  Tammy here!

We are having a sale on 7gypsies this month 20% off till September 30th at the Flying Unicorn Store!  Whoo hoo!

Let me tell ya if you like to do heritage LO's, then this PP is screaming to be played with! I got to do a heritage LO using the fabulous "Trousseau" Collection from 7gypsies! I so love to see Maggi's heritage LO's, she can flat make you drool over them! I always love the stories behind the photo's she has too tell. As scrappers that is where it all began for us really, a story to tell and a memory to preserve. I have always wanted to give a heritage LO a try...  I got my hands on a awesome heritage item this week right when I was playing with these papers!! Tooo Cool!! It must have been fate?!

My cousin had came over to the house and was asking my advise on a newspaper cover that her Mom and my Aunt was on in 1962. I end up scanning in my computer and that is all it took! LOL It was on!! I had to play!! LOL. Here is the Newspaper artical..
She was 16 when this was taken. Out in a cotton field picken cotton and up came this person taking pics for a Newspaper in Saint Louis. They were publishing a article on cotton fields, and my aunt presented them a opportunity for a beautiful face to adorn their cover! How cool was that?! Now for the heritage item to meet scrapbooking!! A little resizing and some beautiful papers to play with!! And Bamm! A heritage LO is born!

I used several fussy cut sheets on this LO. Pieces from just about all the sheets!! LOL  I loved each one and so much yummyness I couldn't help myself! I also used some Dusty Attic Flowers and pieces for this LO too!! I made the door, but adorned it with some DA corner pieces and the Yummy clock face is DA too! I used some Tattered Angels Glam on it. You can find them in the Flying Unicorn store too!! Along with the TH Crackle paint that I used on the door as well! I used "Picket Fence" and "Rock candy".  How about some closeups..

Sooo many really cool vintage images to fussy cut!! Oh and some really cool tape to use too! It is behind the word "true". I love the washi tape from 7gypsies and really wanted to use it more than I did! It worked like a charm to remove a area that was bugging me. Looks like it is just a part of the PP, with a bit of texture to boot! Next close ups..
Now ya know that LO's for me, just aren't LO's without some beautiful flowers to adorn them with! On this LO, I used Dusty Attic blooms in white, and tinted them with the paints that came in the June KOM. I didn't do them all that way just a few. On the door, I used TH crackle paints, as mentioned above, and fussy cut out some of the numbers from the PP, to form the date of the photo on the door. Had some of the DA mini corners to frame the plaque that holds the date on it. Next and last close up.

Here is the DA clock that I applied some Tattered angels glam too.. What was really cool is that if ya don't color the clock with gesso and apply the glam straight it gives almost the look of a old cherry wood. Well at least with the colors that I used! I coated several layers of "Plumeria" and then gave some areas a light touch of the Champagne glam.

Well that is all from me today! I hope your day is a awesome one!! :)
