Loving Mixed Media and Creative Embellishments!

Hi all!!! Back today on the CE blog to share a LO with ya. I took some pics on my vaca of the family and one pic I just had to scrap right away. Have ya ever done that before?! Like ya couldn't get it printed out fast enough to scrap? LOL Speaking of vaca, is this summer flying by or what? It seems like I am running around like a crazy woman of late to get things done. Before I know it the day is gone, like a flash! Ok enough of the chatter let me show ya the LO! :)

This photo brings to mind a certain conversation that me and my hubs had while we was dating. He would talk about being able to see his self in someone else (being related) because he is adopted. Ya know the traits and likeness we all share when we are related to our families. Well he got a big ole dose in our son. He looks just like his dad and that is so special to my husband. How about some close ups?

The Creative Embellishment Distressed Corner stamp really makes the Mix Media BG just pop! I really had a blast using it! Absolutely perfect for Mix Media LO's. I actually used some other stamping but the photo piece ended up covering it up. I had started the LO horizontally, but ended up going with it vertically. I just really liked how things lined up better. So I had to sacrifice some of my stamping.Thats ok tho cuz more LO's are on the horizon for me! :)

The Flim strip Photo frame was painted with a black Faber-Castell Big brush pen (Love these so much!). Makes easy work for coloring chippies.

Products used:
Marion Smith " Nirvana " Collection
Petaloo and Prima Flowers
TH Film strip
Gesso
13arts ink
IZINK
TH Distress paint
Prima Mask

Thank You for hanging out with me today! Don't forget about a challenge that is going on this month to win ya some of these Amazing Chippies or stamps! Hugs all!!
