Hello everyone! Sharing my OTP from the February KOM today. I have been exploring with Finnabair this month and the OTP worked perfectly for what I had in mind as use for it. I am gonna use it to hold my paint brushes. My cup fit perfectly in it! Here is the OTP

Inside I have a personal quote for myself. To remind myself imperfections need to be embraced.
The quote reads.. Discover imperfection with a smile and create art. I am one that doesn't embrace that, as I am very tedious with my projects and have been over tedious. To the point where I end up over thinking to get thing exactly how I see them. That takes away a lot of the fun that art brings me. A little is good but too much its a mojo killer! LOL

Mojo Monday with Flying Unicorn
Hi all! Hope you will join us this week and play along with our Mojo Monday sketch by Alda and Inspo LO by me! Lots of blues in the sketch couldn't resist to play with them!
I decided to give a vintage/mixed media twist to the sketch. Using pops of gold to warm the sketch up a bit. My tip on choosing a color to go along with your pattern paper is use the area behind the photo to sample your chosen colors to see if they will work together. Here is my example photo..
My goal was to match up the colors in the paper itself already. Sometimes matching up can be tricky. by using the area that won't be seen anyway, you are sure to get a perfect match and not be stuck with a dilemma of a wrong color choice. The photo is actually of my mom when she was really young. This photo had just recently turned up. It was badly damage and I had to edited it quite a bit. But got it good as new! A treasure to last for many years to come! Here are some close ups of my LO.

Flight of Imagination With CE
Hi everyone!! Guess what?!! IT'S FRIDAY!!! YAY!!! Ok I seem to be on a canvas roll this month for some reason.. I haven't done any while, so I guess I am just making up for lost time! LOL This one I saw a cool tute on pinterest on a BG that I wanted to give a whirl on a peeled paint technique. Now I have seen a few but this one I though hey gonna give it a go! I did add in a few other media on the BG when I got done. I just wanted a little more Umph. But even that didn't give me the Umph that I was looking for. Sooo I added in some chippies, Flying Unicorn adornments and flowers, then it made me smile! Here is the canvas...
The CE Flourish Dragonfly was soooo much fun to alter! I really love how it turned out!! Here let me get ya a close up of that..
You can even see the CE Distressed Script stamp! Yay!! I didn't cover it all up this time! I was proud! LOL The Chicken wire Panel, made a perfect back drop for my dragonfly to be on. The treatment on the Chicken wire was simply stubble it on with one of my worn out paint brushes. I let some of the raw chippy peek through here and there. My Dragonfly was first covered with gesso, misted with 13 Arts pastel turquoise mist, then I went over it in areas with some silks in pretty peridot. I still wasn't satisfied with the look so, I added more! Got into my stash and used some silver pearl paint from 13 arts on the inside of the wings. Nope I needed more.. So I got my 13 arts silver glitter paint and painted over the rest of the wings! Oooo it is nice and sparkly now! LOL Edged the whole piece with a little inker in dark rust. Now my wings looked good but the center was really boring. so I went in and added some DecoArt Metallic paint in rich espresso with a script liner paint brush to create the ripples. painted on some of the mist this time and dried. But wanted a pop of green so I painted down one side with the silks again. Ok how about one last close up?!
Here I added in some CE gears in the medium and Large to fit below my flower cluster. All I did to these was gesso and ink the edges with a little inker. Drizzled on a little bit of the mist. I added in some painted Flying Unicorn Adornments and a TH number plaque. The flowers are Petaloo and loved getting in on the paint and ink action too! Here is a pic of the canvas facing straight on.
Thank you so much for joining me today!! Hope ya try something new out and don't forget to get ya some CE chippies to make it complete!

Knock knock with CE
Hello all you CE fans out there! Hope everyone is having a awesome week! I have a canvas to share today. Truly I had no idea what or where I was gonna go with this project. Tag? Canvas? Or what.. Yup me and mojo have not been the best of friends. So I started where I knew what I wanted to do.
That was a super cool CE door! I saw this door shared on pinterest by one of my friends out there in scrapy land. Every time I was scrolling there was this door! Sooo I thought hummm I think I can use one of our CE doors and create something similar. Not exact.. But similar. So I pulled out my door and started to work. I started by removing the center pieces. Then I sanded smooth the inside where the pieces was removed. The door on pinterest was blue and had white scroll work in the center. Sooo Of course my door had to be blue and have scroll work too! Now that I had the center piece removed I remembered I had some cool pieces that would fit the bill. Believe it or not I used the window shutter. I traced around the inside of the door right on top of the shutter and then cut it out. When I had it cut out I used some stampendous embossing powder in aged white. Now I was ready to paint my door. I dry brushed on some 13 Arts paint in vivid blue. I didn't completely coat the door. Just a light covering. Then I went back over it even lighter dry brushed on some 13 arts matte turquoise. I used my little inker and stamped it on my mat and mixed with some golden gel medium. then painted the door creases that is printed on to the door. Now my door needed a handle. So I made one! Took a thin piece of chipboard and bended it in a "S" shape and glued to a small tiny piece that I made as the base for my door handle. I also glued my scroll work in the center in place.
Now I had my door allll done.. What to do with it?! I was STUCK! Then I remembered a bible verse that my nana always said to me when I was growing up and when I didn't know what to do about something. Ask and you shall receive, seek and you shall find; knock and it will be opened unto you. The knocking part really fit my door. I did pray for help that my mojo would come back. :) This was my divine intervention. So I decided to go with it and do a canvas. Here is my canvas..
The verse I quoted was actually Matthew 7:7, but I ended up using 7:8. Here is another view..
I ended up using the Window Shutters 2 to go along side my door as ornate pieces. The bricks are the positive pieces from the 6x6 Brick panel. I used some yummy flourishes too below my top flower cluster. It is Flourish set 10. How about some close ups?
